About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist setting that supports children and young people with a range of complex needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons that inspire and engage pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
* Create a safe, stimulating and positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
* Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
* Promote independence, resilience and confidence in learners
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience working within SEN settings or with pupils with additional needs
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A nurturing and patient approach
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
