We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation within the construction sector for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Sales Ledger professional to join a busy finance team. You will play a key role in managing the sales ledger function and supporting the company's cash flow and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the full sales ledger process
Raising and issuing invoices accurately and promptly
Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely payments
Proactively chasing outstanding debt and reducing aged debt
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
Investigating and resolving invoice queries
Producing aged debtor reports and supporting financial reporting
Liaising with internal departments and external clients
Supporting month-end processes where required
Requirements
Previous experience in a Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable role
Essential: Experience within the construction industry
Strong working knowledge of invoicing, reconciliations, and credit control
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Good IT skills, including Excel and accounting systems
