The Faculty of Mathematics, Science & Health is looking to appoint to the following positions for September 2026.
* Teacher of Biology A Level/Applied Science - 1 FTE
* Teacher of Computer Science A Level/AAQ Computing - 1 FTE
* Teacher of A Level Mathematics/Further Mathematics - 0.5 FTE
The Faculty of Social Sciences, Criminology, Film & Media is looking to appoint to the following position:
* Teacher of Criminology (with an ability to offer a second subject) - 1 FTE

💷 Government Retention Bonus – Up to £6,000
Electrical Installation teaching is part of the Government’s priority “building and construction” subject area.
This means eligible FE teachers in their first five years of teaching can receive between ÂŁ2,000 and ÂŁ6,000, depending on teaching hours and provider criteria.
Applications for the 2025–26 academic year open 2 March – 31 May 2026.
We will support eligible new staff with the application process.

Criteria
* Degree in the relevant subject (or a closely related discipline).
* A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current course requirements.
* Ability to deliver high‑quality, engaging teaching that supports excellent learner progress.
* Ability to assess learners effectively and provide clear, constructive feedback.
* Confident in using digital tools and platforms to support teaching and learning.
* Ability to maintain high expectations, promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and promoting the welfare of young people.
