Our clients provide high quality, expert advice and support on all aspects of Transport Planning, Travel Planning, Civil and Structural Engineering. They value recruiting the right staff, as retention and development are key, and now require a Graduate Transport Planner in OXFORD. They will provide a launching pad for a successful career in Transport Planning, supporting your growth within the company's expanding network of offices. The role involves working alongside a diverse team of Transport Planners, Civil Engineers, and Structural Engineers, gaining consultancy skills by assisting in multiple projects, including preparing planning applications for new and regenerated development sites.
Dynamic and client-focused, with an eye for detail and excellent analytical judgment; over the 12-18 month programme, you will help prepare Transport Assessments and Statements, as well as Travel Plans. Your work will include input into site layouts, access and parking designs, local and planning policy, development impact assessments, and strategies to promote sustainable travel practices for future developments. As an SME, you will have direct exposure to clients, site visits, and meetings, with opportunities to contribute to company operations such as marketing, finance, and development.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Educated to Degree or HND level, preferably in Geography, Planning, Mathematics, or Civil Engineering
* Good written and verbal communication skills
