Business Development Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our National Team in the Hunter Region, based in Newcastle. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for securing new business and maximising cross sell opportunities for General Insurance products across a diverse portfolio of clients.

What the day will look like

You will achieve success by implementing strategy initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market share. You will work closely with a team of ambitious professionals, leveraging your exceptional communication and negotiation skills to cultivate last relationships with key stakeholders.

* Strong sales skills – Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. The capability to nurture and cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
* Relationship building – Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Insurers and other key stakeholders to build trust and loyalty
* Customer focused – Dedication to understand client needs and deliver a tailored solution to me their requirements.
* Build relationships internally, to bring all of Aon to the client in a holistic approach.
* Analytical skills – Proficiency in analysing data, market research and financial reports to identify opportunities and make informed business solutions.
* Adaptability – Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, client demand, and company priorities.
* Team leadership – Ability to coach and lead from the front, motivate a team, foster a collaborative and high performing work environment.
* Problem solving – Aptitude for identifying challenges, finding innovation solutions, and overcoming obstacles to achieve business objectives.
