Hourly Rate: £13.15 plus a 12.4% overall shift allowance Shift Pattern: The role covers a 3-shift rotation working Monday to Friday conducting the 8- hour shift patterns below. Mornings: 0600 – 1430 Nights: 2200 – 0630 Afternoons: 1400 - 2230 Overtime is available on a weekend at the discretion of the management team. Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays What You Will Be Doing: This role has a variety of responsibilities to keep you busy throughout the day. Key responsibilities and duties are listed below. Operating machinery and equipment when trained, including start-ups, shutdowns and maintaining operations at the agreed level, maximising productivity Conducting appropriate checks on machinery/equipment, including but not limited to pre-start-up check sheets, pre-production checks, mid-production checks, post production and random checks. Reporting any faults/hazards/defects immediately to your shift Manager/Supervisor Always acting safely and responsibly, carrying out your duties to the best of your ability. Following all procedures and complying with company SOPs / safe working practices. Carrying out Total Preventative Maintenance activities on machinery and equipment used, (only when trained). Clean down of machinery/equipment and protect the plant from damage by foreign objects / items not intended for processing. Carrying out all general work and housekeeping duties as defined by management / Supervision. Operating company vehicles, including front loaders, FLTs (Counterbalance & Reach), 360 material handlers, scissor lifts, telehandlers and pallet trucks (only when licenced and trained to do so). Following instructions from your Line Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a timely and cooperate manner Working as part of a team, assisting fellow work colleagues and working together with other teams and departments to ensure that overall business objectives and targets are reached Taking a proactive stance on Site health and safety. Ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others, including any visitors and contractors.
