Position Details
Take financial responsibility for our multi-million-pound manufacturing business in Campsie, Derry/L'Derry. Lead the preparation of financial information, provide strong leadership to the Finance team, including financial advice and analysis, and support profitability and efficiency improvements. Assist the General Manager in business operations, strategy, and growth. Collaborate with customers and dealers to support sales while maintaining financial control.
What you’ll do
* Lead a finance team of 2 Financial & Cost Accountants, overseeing financial and management accounting, P&L and Balance Sheet review, and variance analysis.
* Maintain financial control, ensuring compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and audit requirements.
* Oversee monthly reporting and communicate results to stakeholders.
* Manage monthly R&O and quarterly forecasts.
* Contribute to business strategy formulation and execution.
* Support business improvements through accurate financial information and cross-functional collaboration.
* Assist in commercial decision-making and business development.
* Provide machine costing data and implement cycle counting procedures.
* Ensure timely delivery of annual planning and budgeting aligned with strategic goals.
* Manage working capital, focusing on inventory and receivables, and provide cash flow analysis.
* Support IT system implementations and establish credit controls.
* Oversee Capex strategies and monthly reporting for various business aspects.
* Track sales and margins, support sales reviews.
What you’ll bring
* University degree.
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
* Significant financial or business analysis experience, operational experience preferred.
* Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
* Comfort working with top management.
