About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments (DQRAs).
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and delivering contaminated land projects including both site investigation and remediation for a range of clients.
* Provide technical assessment and support in contaminated land to ensure high quality delivery of projects that may be complex and large-scale.
* Undertaking and supporting the design, implementation and verification of environmental remediation works
* Manage communication and liaison with clients and a wide range project stakeholders, from clients to regulators, facilitate project delivery and maintain positive company reputation.
* Participating in business development activities and managing key clients
* Writing high standard reports which are technically accurate and commercially focused.
* Assist with training and development of junior staff to enable them to achieve their potential and deliver effective business results.
Qualifications
* Be educated to degree level (or higher) in a science related subject;
* Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in contaminated land consulting with a focus on DQRAs and a track record of successful project delivery;
* Be proficient with relevant software tools for environmental risk assessment and modelling;
* Have strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate diverse project teams;
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Membership of a relevant professional body and evidence of ongoing CPD maintenance;
* Geotechnical experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Although the role will be based in Stoke Mandeville in Buckinghamshire, we have sites across the UK and so a full driving license is an absolute requirement. Please note that you must either be a UK citizen or hold a full, unrestricted UK work visa in order to be considered for this post. Salary: £40-50k per year
