🌙🚛 Class 1 HGV Night Driver
Location: Thame
Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 (DOE) + Overtime
Agency Pay – £19.00 PAYE ADV
Overtime after 45 hours – £24.00 paye adv
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours/week (between 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client is looking for reliable and professional Class 1 Night Drivers to join their growing team. If you enjoy night driving, have a good head for safety, and like being part of a team that respects your time and effort—this one’s for you!
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Driving Class 1 vehicles to deliver and collect palletised freight from trusted partners
2. 1 to 2 trunk runs
3. Handling mostly forklift-loaded goods, with occasional electric pallet truck use
4. Supporting trailer movements on the occasional Saturday morning (paid overtime!)
5. Being a hands-on team player when a delivery requires some physical effort
6. Keeping things safe, tidy, and professional at all times
💼 What You Bring to the Role:
7. A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and CPC qualification
8. 12+ months of Class 1 driving experience
9. Comfortable with night work and working independently
10. Friendly and respectful with colleagues and customers alike
11. Attention to detail, safety-minded, and proud of your vehicle and your work
⏰ Working Hours:
12. Monday to Friday
13. Shifts between 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM (includes a 1-hour lunch break)
14. Contracted overtime:
15. One Saturday morning per month, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (paid)
