What will you be doing?
Within the Strategy & Value Creation team, we have an established Pricing strategy practice serving sectors including retail, consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, transport, and industrial manufacturing, supporting UK, European, and international clients. We collaborate with C-level executives to address deal and growth strategies.
KPMG’s Pricing strategy practice specializes in solving pricing and revenue optimization problems using data and analytics techniques to deliver sustainable solutions that improve margins in the short and long term. Our team is composed of bright, committed individuals passionate about delivering excellent client work, solving complex data problems, acquiring new analytical skills, and enjoying a positive work environment.
What will you need to do it?
We are recruiting an Assistant Manager with experience in Pricing / Data Analytics.
* Collaborate with client staff and management to develop and deliver pricing solutions and recommendations.
* Understand client systems and data structures; design and execute data-intensive analyses to support evidence-based insights.
* Manage engagement workstreams and analysis, define deliverables, set timelines, and ensure high-quality outputs, including leading small teams when necessary.
* Implement solutions/tools within the client environment and train clients on new approaches and tools.
* Plan and conduct primary and secondary research to develop insightful analyses for clients.
* Develop business cases and strategic plans supported by robust analysis.
* Contribute to the delivery and presentation of client deliverables, including creating clear and effective presentation slides.
* Engage in business development activities, building relationships with clients during and after engagements.
Qualifications:
* At least 3-4 years of strategy or analytics experience in corporate roles, boutique analytics firms, or strategic consultancies.
* Strong skills in business research and data analytics, including data manipulation, cleansing, aggregation, and summarization.
* Experience with economic modeling using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, R, VBA.
* Knowledge of statistics and experience applying statistical methodologies to analyze and interpret data, identifying patterns or trends in complex datasets.
* Understanding of machine learning techniques and practical experience applying them for commercial purposes is desirable.
* A pragmatic approach to analysis and problem-solving, capable of implementing structured and conceptual models in complex client environments.
