Use tech and data to power a smarter grid
Digital technology and data are at the heart of our plans to modernise our energy system – safely, securely and sustainably in the communities we serve.
SP Energy Networks includes both ScottishPower Transmission (SPT) and ScottishPower Distribution (SPD) and is evolving into a more dynamic Distribution System Operator (DSO). This transformation supports a smarter, more flexible grid where consumers and generators interact more actively with the electricity system. Through innovative, economic, and commercial solutions, we’re delivering on the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
