Teaching Assistant SEN – Home Tuition
Role Overview:
Location: Bromsgrove (in the student's home)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Pay: £18 per hour (contract)You’ll be working closely alongside a qualified tutor to support a neurodivergent young person. The role is primarily based in the home, with:
1 day a week at Forest School
1 day a week at a local community groupKey Responsibilities:
Support engagement, communication, and regulation using sensory and movement-based strategies
Build trust and encourage learner-led participation
Maintain a consistent, calm, and supportive presenceEssential Experience:
Supporting children with sensory processing needs, demand avoidance (PDA), and speech/language needs
Working in 1:1 or alternative education settings
Trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practiceWhat You'll Receive:
