We are looking for a kind and bubbly person to help us care for our service users as if they were part of their own family, as they are a big part of ours.
We are looking for a team player who want to learn and grow in their role which is to be based at on of our residential homes.
As a Care Assistant, your role is to help our service users by prompting their personal and wellbeing care needs while encouraging their independence and maintaining their dignity.
Your role may include:
* Answering emergency bells, the door, and the telephone; greet visitors.
* To always comply with the home's guidelines and policies.
* To report to the home manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a service user.
* To encourage and assist service users to remain as independent as possible. Supporting them to live their best life.
* To encourage and assist service users to tend to their personal hygiene.
* To assist service users who are temporarily unwell.
* Assist with the day-to-day duties in the Home including domestic duties such as laundry, help with mealtimes etc.
* To accompany service users on outings if requested
* To empower the service users and improve their wellbeing
To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
We are a family run business founded by our Sue, over 30 years ago and Her daughter Rebecca has since taken over the business. We are passionate about what we do and believe that if we take care of our staff, they are then best placed to take care of our service users.
In light of this, we offer training and support for our staff from getting their first NVQ all the way up to a nursing degree.

We are looking for someone to work on average 36 hours per week. This will include working every other weekend. We work off 2 week rota so one week will be more hours than the other.

Pay: £12.50-£13.30 per hour
