About the Role:
As Accounts Receivable Manager, youll lead a small and dedicated team in managing the full AR function across our diverse portfolio of hotels, bars, and restaurants. Youll ensure prompt and accurate payment of invoices, guide the team to reduce aged debt, and improve our overall debt profile through hands-on coaching and direction.
Youll take ownership of debt collection planning and reporting, provide expert support for your team, and maintain excellent relationships with both internal teams and external clients. Your proactive and collaborative approach will be key to driving improvements, maintaining compliance, and delivering financial control and insight across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, support, and coach all staff involved in debt collection across the business
* Monitor AR accounts through monthly balance sheet reviews and implement detailed collection plans
* Oversee cash posting and allocation to ledger accounts using a variety of Property Management Systems
* Maintain regular communication with group-wide clients and internal teams to manage expectations and resolve issues
* Ensure timely and accurate issuance of statements and client communications
* Monitor compliance with billing and credit check procedures
* Produce accurate weekly internal AR reports and highlight risks to the Group Financial Controller and Deputy Finance Director
* Support the annual audit process and ad hoc reporting as required
About You:
* Experienced You have a solid background in accounts receivable or a similar finance role, ideally in a multi-site hospitality setting.
* Supportive Leader You enjoy developing others and are confident managing people and performance.
* Detail-Oriented Accuracy in reporting and reconciliation is second nature to you.
* A Clear Communicator You build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication.
* Tech Confident Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfortable using finance systems.
* Proactive & Professional You show initiative, take ownership, and bring a positive, problem-solving mindset to your role.
