Objective:
Accurate and timely preparation of financial reporting and assisting Head of Finance and MD with financial
responsibilities of the group.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Timely preparation of management accounts and related reports in line with agreed deadlines
* Analysis of profitability against separate contracts and working with internal teams to search for improvements in the gross margins
* Collaborating with internal teams to develop KPIs and drive the profitability of the business
* Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies, managing client expectations throughout
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
* Forecasting cashflow of the business and performing analysis on monthly basis
* Providing guidance on technical accounting issues to ensure clarity and accuracy
* Creating and updating detailed process documentation for each client and ensuring team compliance
* Staying informed on developments in management accounting to maintain high service standards
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving efficiency
* Maintaining consistently high work standards and attention to detail
* Supporting other areas of the business as required, including technical and administrative tasks
* Completing ad hoc duties as requested by senior management
· Maintenance of fixed asset register
· Processing of monthly payroll for internal team and PAYE contracts
Competency Requirements;
· Qualified accountant (preferably CIMA)
· SME background is ideal
Technical Knowledge:
· Strong technical accounting knowledge with good understanding of accounting standards
Skills:
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
· Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
· Able to communicate with Finance and non-finance teams
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Opportunity:
