JOB TITLE: Hindsford Wrap Around Club Support Assistant
JOB PURPOSE: To Support with the Running of the After School Provision.
LINE MANAGEMENT: Reporting to the Headteacher
SALARY SCALE: G2 Level 1
WORKING TIME:
Monday to Friday - 3.30pm to 5.30pm (2 hours per day)
In Total: 8 hours
DISCLOSURE: Enhanced DBS
SPECIFIC DUTIES
To support the Wrap Around Club Manager & Deputy Manager with the following tasks:
* delivering daily activities.
* organising the food preparation for the snack in the afternoon.
* following the correct procedures for when a child enters the club and/or is collected.
* being aware of all key polices, including health & safety polices and safeguarding policies linked to working with children and at Hindsford Wrap around.
* ensuring that all club equipment is stored safely and tided away at the end of each night.
* supporting with the set-up of evening club resources.
* encouraging positive interactions between pupils and staff to create a warm, welcoming and friendly environment.
* encouraging behaviour in line with school policy and managing and recording any incidents of behaviour.
* liaising with parent/carers if requested by the Manager or Deputy.
In addition to:
* being first aid trained
* being Level 1 Food Hygiene trained
GENERAL DUTIES
* To support the school vision, aims and motto.
* To follow and promote both the Christian and British Values.
* To maintain good punctuality, being ready for work at the correct start time.
* To carry out any duty as directed by the Manger / Deputy Manager.
* To display high levels of staff code of conduct.
