Paralegal - Personal Injury
Location: Sandwich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a busy team based in Sandwich. This role requires a confident individual who can step straight in and manage their own caseload with minimal supervision.
Applicants must have prior Personal Injury experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced legal environment.
We can only accept applicants who have the full Right To Work in the UK and live within 30 to 45 minute commute.
Key Responsibilities
Managing high volume of personal Injury caseloads, including Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), Employer's Liability, Public Liability, Occupiers' Liability and Criminal Injury cases
Handling both fast track and multi track cases, pre and post litigation
Predominantly Claimant work, with occasional Defendant matters
Instructing medical experts, counsel, and agencies
Preparing court documents, applications, witness statements, and trial bundles
Drafting costs schedules and managing legal expenses insurance matters
Handling Ministry of Justice Portal claims, MedCo and AskCUE processes
Liaising daily with clients, insurers, solicitors, counsel, courts, and experts
Managing billing processes and maintaining accurate ledgers
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, protocols, and regulatory requirements
Attending court hearings where required Essential Requirements
Proven, strong Paralegal experience within Personal Injury Law
Strong working knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and Public Liability Legislation
Experience handling your own caseload with minimal supervision
