Brand-new Intensive Complex Care Service Nr Tamworth — and we’re looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to help shape and lead this service from the very beginning.
This is a truly unique opportunity to make a lasting impact, supporting individuals transitioning from long-term inpatient settings into their own homes.
You won’t just be joining a team — you’ll be building a culture, leading best practice, and directly influencing outcomes for individuals with complex needs.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading development and implementation of PBS strategies
* Conducting behavioural and referral assessments
* Creating and reviewing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
* Supporting complex transitions into community living
* Working alongside MDT professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, ICBs, social workers)
* Driving restraint reduction and promoting positive practice
* Delivering training and CPD to staff teams
* Analysing behavioural data to improve outcomes
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience within PBS frameworks / ABA
* Proven success in reducing restrictive practices
* Experience delivering PBS training
* Knowledge of MCA, DOLS, safeguarding, and risk management
* Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel
* Relevant qualification (or working towards), such as:
* BSc / MSc / MA in ABA, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, or PBS Diploma
