Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for fantastic company based in Southampton.
This role is offered as hybrid and is a 6-month FTC to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting tasks, such as posting supplier invoices, making supplier payments and posting month end journals
Duties include:
1. Posting purchase invoices
2. Dealing with supplier’s queries on an as needs basis
3. Reconciling supplier statements
4. Posting month end journals
5. Cash book postings and bank reconciliation
Personal requirements:
6. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
7. Previous accounts experience is a must
8. Experience of Continia or using an expense tracking app would be a distinct advantage
9. IT Literate, Microsoft Dynamics Navision would also be desirable.
Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 1630
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000
