Your Role as Nursery Third in Charge:
In this pivotal role, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development
* Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development
* Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with high-quality documentation
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your position
* Support the implementation of an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments
* Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
* Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS
What You Need:
To thrive in this role, you should have:

Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification
*
Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years
*
Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position
*
Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating
*
Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
*
Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English
