Join Trowers as an AML and Conflicts Analyst. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in either Birmingham or Manchester, contributing to a centralised business intake team.
The Role
The AML and Conflicts Analyst will:
1. Collect and review CDD for new clients and undertake CDD.
2. Conduct in-depth research using company registries, corporate databases, and risk screening software.
3. Provide guidance to fee-earners on source of funds for transactional matters.
4. Carry out client and matter risk assessments on Intapp.
5. Handle enquiries from fee earners and support staff, building strong rapport.
6. Conduct and analyse potential conflicts of interest using conflicts database searches.
7. Assess and communicate conflict search results to fee earners.
8. Manage the resolution of conflict issues, escalating to senior analysts when necessary.
The Candidate
The ideal AML and Conflicts Analyst will have:
9. Minimum of 2 years' experience in legal compliance at an international law firm.
10. Experience in AML and legal conflicts management.
11. Proficiency in using Intapp Open.
12. Strong communication and organisational skills.
13. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
14. Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office, with a willingness to learn new systems.
15. A degree in Law, Risk Management, Economics, Politics, Business or related discipline.
