Blue Diamond Recruitment is proud to be supporting a well-established and reputable five star house builder as they begin their search for a HR Coordinator to join their head office located in Derbyshire (easily accessible from Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire & Warwickshire).
This will be a 12–18 month contract to cover maternity leave.
An excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive HR professional to play a key role in supporting a busy HR function, with exposure to systems, reporting, employee relations and recruitment support.
The Role
As HR Coordinator, you will provide administrative and operational support across the HR function, acting as a key point of contact for HR systems and employee queries. You will ensure all processes are delivered efficiently, maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support in the implementation and development of HR systems and initiatives
* Day-to-day management of HR systems (including iTrent, ESS and SharePoint)
* Act as first point of contact for HR system queries and troubleshooting
* Support system upgrades, testing and continuous improvement
* Assist with monthly payroll processes
* Manage HR administrative processes including contracts, return to work documentation and family leave processes
* Maintain HR data, reports and dashboards (including Power BI reporting)
* Coordinate HR meetings, inductions and internal communications
* Manage HR inbox and respond to employee queries
* Support recruitment activity when required
* Assist with exit interviews and maintain tracking data
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
About You
* Previous experience working within an HR function
* Strong working knowledge of HR systems and databases
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to handle sensitive information
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable:
* Experience with iTrent or similar HR systems
* Understanding of Right to Work processes and HR compliance
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
* Experience producing reports and analysing HR data
