Overview
We are looking for permanent, full-time Children’s Social Care Assistants. You will need a talent for administration and an interest in working with children and families, to join the Children in Care and Post 16 Services located within B Bond. You will be providing services to children who are in care or care leavers, as part of a team alongside Social Workers, Personal Advisors, Engagement Workers and Family Support Workers.

You will need strong organisation and administrative skills, and the capacity to work under pressure. You will have good communication skills and an ability to use initiative to support the work of the team; these are essential qualities.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
Responsibilities
* Provide services to children in care or care leavers as part of the Children in Care or Post 16 Services.
* Use spreadsheets, upload performance information and data onto a database.
* Administer basic finance processes and take minutes at meetings.
* Support the team with communication and administrative duties; the role is primarily administrative with occasional direct work with children and their families.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Strong organisational and administrative skills; ability to work under pressure.
* Good communication skills and ability to use initiative.
* Experience with spreadsheets, data uploads, and basic finance processes.
* Ability to take minutes at meetings.
* Role subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
