KS4 Teacher - SEMH Provision (M3-M4)

We are working in partnership with a specialist SEMH school in [Chorley] to recruit a committed and confident KS4 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position on a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract through Teaching Personnel.
This role is ideal for a teacher on the M3 or M4 pay scale who is passionate about inclusive education and ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Teaching a small class of up to 5 KS4 pupils with SEMH and associated additional needs
* Delivering a broad and accessible curriculum focused on engagement, life skills and positive outcomes
* Working closely with a team of experienced support staff and specialist professionals
* Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment that promotes emotional regulation and academic progress
* Qualified Teacher (QTS) with experience at KS4 level
* Understanding of SEMH needs and trauma-informed practice
* Confident in behaviour management and relational approaches to support pupils
* Adaptable, patient and able to differentiate for complex learning and emotional needs
* Keen to work as part of a close-knit and committed staff team
* Small class sizes and excellent staff-to-pupil ratios
* Supportive SLT and multidisciplinary input
