£460 – £485 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This Primary School in Gateshead (NE9) is currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from May 2026. The role of the Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will involve working mainly in a Year 2 classroom, providing both general and intervention support as required. The class is similar to an average group for this age, with 27 pupils and some children with additional needs in the class. This is a school where staff work together to ensure all pupils have access to meaningful learning opportunities.
Requirements
The desired Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
