Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our brand-new venue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess excellent customer service skills. This is the perfect role for a student who is in need of some extra funds whilst studying. Speed of service is a must, but training will be available.
Duties
* Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
* Customer service is the most important factor in this role. You must be an outgoing individual.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Punctuality is an important factor
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in Hosting or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required.
* Strong knowledge of alcohol and basic maths skills for handling transactions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
* Weekend availability is required.
Progression in the business is possible as we're a brand-new venue and in the long run we will need to grow our management team.
Start date is not 100% confirmed as we're still undergoing renovations.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
