Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students of varying abilities.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
3. Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and guidance.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
6. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any areas of concern.
7. Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide events.
Minimum Requirements
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
2. Proven experience teaching Geography at the primary/secondary level.
3. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
6. Effective classroom management skills.
7. Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
