Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide end-to-end solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters.

What will you be doing?
As an engineer, you will join our Metering team providing services such as Smart installations, investigating non-communicating smart meters, and handling emergency and maintenance appointments for clients including EON, OVO, and EDF. Do you enjoy working independently, engaging with customers, and meeting new people?
Customer service is our top priority. You will ensure all jobs are completed on time, providing customers with detailed explanations of their new meters’ benefits and safe usage. You will also respond to emergencies, restoring power or gas when needed. Do you like making a difference in people’s lives?

Health and safety are at the core of our operations. You will undergo onboarding to prepare you as a safety ambassador and will have access to ongoing training to keep your knowledge current.

What you’ll bring
* Valid UK driving license (held for at least 1 year with fewer than 6 points)
* Experience with CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel
* Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
* Previous MOCOPA experience is a plus
If you have the following qualifications, that’s great but not essential:
* REGT1, 3 phase, CT
