Wrotham Road Primary School are looking fora highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join their excellent team.
This position is for 29.17 hours per week, 8.40am - 3.30pm,Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour unpaid break per day, for 38 weeks per year. The salary of £23,556 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £15,703.
Experience of working with children in an educational setting is required along with:
* good English and Mathematical skills
* relevant qualifications NVQ 2 and 3 in childcare and learning (level 2 only may be acceptable if a willingness to work towards NVQ3 can be demonstrated)
* flexibility and use of initiative
* strong communication skills
* the ability to work alongside as part of a team
* patience and understanding of the ways different children learn
* a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
