Role: Google Workspace Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Overall Purpose
Set up and manage Google Workspace for all staff members. Lead the organization’s migration from Microsoft Office to the Google stack, manage highly sensitive data, and establish data loss prevention (DLP) and security rules to protect company information.
Key Skills
* Hands‑on experience with the Google Workspace ecosystem (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Cloud Identity)
* Experience migrating mid‑to‑large scale organizations (100+ people) from Microsoft to Google Workspace
* Strong background in DLP security and setting up security/DLP rules for highly sensitive data
* Experience in regulated environments such as public sector, finance, healthcare or banks
* Excellent stakeholder communication skills, enabling effective communication with technical and non‑technical personnel
* Proactive, self‑efficient and able to manage workload independently
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, configure, and maintain Google Workspace for staff across the organization
* Manage tools used for configuring and updating the Google stack, including enabling/disabling features as needed
* Facilitate migration from Microsoft Office to Google Workspace, providing user support (e.g., guiding users on performing Microsoft Word tasks within Google Docs)
* Establish, implement, and maintain robust security and DLP rules to safeguard highly sensitive company data
