Duties
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
* Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and tools are readily available.
* Help with the washing up of dishes, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
* Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
* Basic culinary skills, including food preparation and cooking techniques.
* A strong understanding of hygiene standards and food safety practices.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
