Key responsibilities and duties:
1. Planning and scheduling calibrated tooling/equipment
2. Collection, processing and delivering of tooling/equipment
3. Raising the correct paperwork for failures/adjustments and following it through to completion
4. Keeping the correct registers and portals/systems up to date
5. To complete documentation in accordance with Company procedures
6. Liaising with the Calibration House enquiries
7. Liaising with the tool stores, GSE Controller and other relevant Departments on site
8. Supporting the GSE Controller and Tooling Controller when they are out of the business
9. Full compliance and understanding of the Quality Management System
10. Ability to ensure timely action to achieve desired output
11. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities
12. Demonstrates a flexible approach to meet the needs of the task
13. Promote best practice, report bad practice and non-compliance and take preventative action to ensure continual improvement in the organisation
14. To complete documentation in accordance with Company procedure
15. Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Environment regulations and exercise a Duty of Care promoting a positive approach towards workplace health and safety
16. Adhere and champion company policies. Diversity, Dignity and Respect at work.
17. To attend training courses when nominated
18. General duties as required, housekeeping etc., and other responsibilities as allocated by the management team
19. Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.

Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
32. Apprenticeship or BTEC/HNC in a mechanical discipline
33. City &Guilds in a Mechanical discipline (d)
Experience:
34. Experience in the use of measuring equipment in an Engineering Environment (d)
35. Experience in planning/scheduling in a Maintenance Company (d)
