About the role:
The Advanced Planning Manager is a key senior leadership role responsible for driving integrated planning and operational excellence across procurement, production planning and production data. Operating within a complex, global manufacturing environment, the Advanced Planning Manager ensures alignment between strategic objectives, production capabilities, supplier networks, and project execution. This role focuses on optimising end-to-end supply chain performance, enhancing production efficiency, and leading cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement. This role is accountable for ensuring production projects are planned in advance, production capacity is planned to allow make-buy decision process and production scheduling achieves agreed manufacture dates.
This role will be responsible for leading the following departments:
Procurement, Production Planning, Production Data
What we are looking for:
* Significant experience in supply chain planning, production operations, and procurement within a manufacturing environment, including global exposure.
* Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and leading large-scale, strategic initiatives.
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
* Project Management experience.
* Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strategic thinking and systems orientation
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills
