Our 350+ volunteers across the UK support individuals at home with one-to-one technology support, including troubleshooting, setting up devices, and offering impartial advice. Volunteers assist with a range of tasks such as helping people shop online, communicate via email and video calls, and adapt technology to meet specific needs.
Role Responsibilities
* Create local awareness by promoting the service through various channels such as charities, libraries, and community centres.
* Manage client requests using our online ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective support.
* Communicate with clients regarding volunteer availability and updates.
* Review monthly data to identify trends and adjust outreach strategies accordingly.
* Recruit, interview, and support volunteers.
* Lead and motivate your local volunteer team through meetings and regular contact.
* Attend events and meetings as required.
* Approve volunteer expenses.
* Provide client IT support if desired.
