Job Overview
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Rheumatology Outpatient Nurse Manager within the outpatient department at Nevill Hall Hospital, with rotation to our satellite unit in YYF. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, forward‑thinking nurse to lead this team. The role involves overseeing and facilitating safe and effective care for individual patients, coordinating the timely flow of patients through the unit, and working with the OPD Transformation Team to explore new ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high standards of quality care for patients passing through the unit.
* Support a team of Band 6 and Band 5 registered nurses in their professional development.
* Lead and manage the daily operational activities of the outpatient unit.
* Show leadership skills to ensure ongoing support for patients, relatives, staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 7 level nurse with relevant experience in outpatient settings.
* Experience in an OPD setting.
* Band 6 experience is desirable.
