Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our vibrant Delivery practice in Glasgow, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will harness the power of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, gaining hands-on experience and creating significant value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks.
2. Lead and coordinate a team of technical resources to deliver business and IT outcomes.
3. Manage solution implementation, including scope, resources, schedule, and financials.
4. Governance of projects through all phases.
5. Identify key resources and manage stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
6. Issue management, risk assessment, and escalation as needed.
7. Develop and maintain financial, resource, and work plans.
8. Produce status reports regularly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Experience in project management, including planning, financial management, estimation, and delivery focus. Experience in Financial Services is essential.
* Ability to lead teams across multiple sites, with excellent communication skills.
* Proven budget management and financial governance skills.
* Strong problem management and decision-making abilities.
* Experience liaising with IT suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant project management qualifications or training.
* Sound business acumen and judgment.
* Ability to communicate technology challenges in business terms.
