Where We Need You: Protiviti is looking for an IT a n d Cyber Internal Audit and Cyber Senior Manager to join our growing Internal Audit and Financial Advisory (IAFA) Solution. The successful candidate will join the IT Audit assurance team as a Senior Manager to help manage and further develop our cyber assurance internal audit offerings and growing portfolio of work, working closely with our Technology Consulting Cyber team on cyber assurance offerings. Protiviti’s (Information Technology (IT) internal auditing practice helps companies understand the key technology risks and how well the company is mitigating and controlling those risks. Protiviti also provides insight into the threats inherent in today's highly complex technologies through assessing technology risks and the control environment as they relate to critical business processes. Our deep expertise in IT audit can help ensure the integrity, reliability and performance of these processes. Through our methodologies, our clients realise more effective and efficient technology controls that better align the internal audit function with their business and IT strategies. Protiviti works with some of the world’s largest financial services firms, including providing internal audit services to six of the top 10 globally systemically important banks, as well as several other investment, commercial and retail banks, and asset managers and insurers. We are looking to expand our capacity to serve that client base with the addition of a Senior Manager, preferably with investment banking experience. What You Can Expect: The Senior Manager is responsible for the execution of client engagements and maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel. Th e senior manager must have a solid understanding of their client’s business and be able to demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry. For this role we require s omeone with strong capability in IT Audit and Cyber assurance who will lead IT and cyber assurance audits that provide management insights, IT perspective and control evaluation, as well as advising clients on IT cyber assurance strategy and techniques. Prior experience leading engagements covering a cross section of information technologies and cyber controls, including related cybersecurity strategy, governance, operations and cyber improvement program management will be. The Senior Manager ensures quality and satisfaction on engagements and must be able to clearly articulate the relevant value drivers of our business. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients and is responsible for project set up and economics and for ensuring the timely close and billing of projects. Key Responsibilities Support with IT and cyber business development activities to encourage growth of this portfolio of work To work across IT and cyber assurance and advisory projects, including Internal Audit, Technology Consulting, and Operational Resilience Manag e the delivery of client engagements against Protiviti’s standards for engagement management within the IT Audit team as part of the Internal Audit and Advisory (IAFA) solution, including : Managing both Protiviti and client employees. Project and programme planning, execution and tracking Development and quality assurance of engagement deliverables Reporting and presenting to senior client and Protiviti staff on project deli verables status and risk. Effectively develop and manage client relationships with senior stakeholders. Develop proposals and bid materials for client advisory/ consulting engagements with existing and new clients primarily within the Internal Audit and Advisory team. Demonstrat e expertise in specific technical areas and/or industries and delive r specific product solutions to clients. Develop Protiviti go-to-market propositions and thought leadership including white papers, FAQs and other marketing materials. Market and enhanc e Protiviti’s profile in the market through: Excellent delivery and client management on engagements Development of client opportunities through the identification of new engagement opportunities and leveraging relationships within engagements Maintaining client contacts made through the course of the individual’s career. Representing Protiviti at conferences and other external events Promoting Protiviti’s values and philosophies Liais e with other offices globally to leverage existing contacts and provide a considered and consistent approach to the market. Contribut e to employee development by actively mentoring employees, creating development opportunities, initiating and conducting training. Participat e in recruiting efforts to support Protiviti business objectives. Enhance technical and operational knowledge through coaching from team and industry specific training/ seminars/ forums. Ensure this knowledge is shared with team members. Develop, with the Company’s support, existing or new areas of relevant specialism and expertise to differentiate yourself in the market. Do Your Talents Include the Following? Deep technical cyber skills and internal audit experience with the ability to support with scoping and overseeing related engagement delivery. Solid knowledge of internal auditing processes and methodologies including flowcharting. Solid understanding of current internal control concepts (COSO, IIA standards, COBIT) and relevant security frameworks ( NIST, CIS, CSA). A diverse skill base in both IT auditing and information systems Knowledge of emerging technology and related cyber risk Security/Cyber Effectiveness Reviews, assessing Security/ Cyber strategy, governance, operating effectiveness and measurement of cyber risk and control performance. Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment. Self-starter and can operate independently as needed. A high threshold for ambiguity and lack of structure and process during early phases of engagements. Our Workplace and Employment Process Protiviti practices a hybrid working model with at least two days per week in the office or client site. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments. Remuneration and Benefits Starting salar ies are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Employees are eligible for medica l and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 2 5 days holiday p er calendar year.
