As the house keeper for Ward E3, you will be expected to co-ordinate non clinical ward services, the work will include: - Talking to and reassuring patients Keeping the ward clean & tidy Serving and clearing away meals & preparing snacks and drinks Some clerical and admin tasks (i.e - documenting on appropriate dietary charts / laminating) Documenting the patients hydration on the hospital computer (patient track) Receiving visitors Orientating new staff / volunteers Datix any staffing issues of the day Ordering non clinical supplies Equipment maintenance any broken equipment sending it to medical appliances to be fixed Putting away stock & laundry deliveries The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.
