Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Junior Artworker to join our in-house creative team. The ideal candidate will support the creation and preparation of artwork for print and digital media, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in design and production within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the creation of design assets for print and digital, including brochures, email campaigns, web assets, social media graphics, gallery POS, and advertisements
* Prepare final artwork files for print or digital delivery, ensuring all specifications (bleeds, crop marks, resolution, etc.) are met.
* Make layout and content amendments to existing artwork based on feedback from the team or clients.
* Work closely with the senior designers and marketing team to maintain brand consistency across all visual communications
* Liaise with printers and other external suppliers to coordinate production, request quotes, and ensure timely delivery of materials
* Create and manage purchase orders where necessary to support artwork production and supplier coordination.
* Retouch, resize, and format images for a range of platforms and specifications
* Help manage asset libraries and maintain file organisation and version control
* Stay updated on best practices in artwork production, design trends, and relevant software.
Skills & Experience
* A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (XD and Premiere Pro are a plus)
* Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of layout, typography, and colour theory.
* Knowledge of print production processes.
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment
