We need a legal guru to join us, working closely with our Group Legal Counsel to provide legal advice across all commercial, corporate, and compliance activities.
This is a maternity leave cover for 12 months, with flexibility possible.
Opportunities like this don’t come along often – you will have exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders and complex projects globally. If you haven’t worked in-house before, then this could be a great first move in-house.
We are a fast-paced business with shifting priorities. You will interact with teams from Procurement to Finance to Human Resources worldwide.
What you will bring:
* You will be a Qualified Solicitor, preferably in Scots Law but other jurisdictions considered. Ideally, at least 4 years PQE, but flexible.
* Available to start around June 2025.
* Experience in a similar in-house role or with a large commercial firm.
* Ability to provide high-quality legal advice in plain English for sound business decisions.
* Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of seniority and business areas.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear legal documents understood across the business.
