Role & Responsibilities:
To ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay, aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.
* Minimize and handle complaints professionally according to policies
* Supervise & manage the restaurant team following company policies and manuals
* Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant manager to maximize sales performance and meet targets
* Control stock and staff costs effectively
* Follow all hotel policies as outlined in training manual
* Ensure quick and efficient service of food and drinks meeting standards
* Train team members effectively in their roles
* Conduct menu training with new menus
* Carry out relevant admin within the department to meet business needs
* Recruit and induct relevant staff following proper procedures
* Stay updated on current promotions and new products
* Inform guests about offers on food and drinks
* Assist in setting up functions and events as per procedures
* Maintain accurate billing systems and ensure all payments are collected
* Observe and comply with cleaning, health, safety, and hygiene regulations
* Maintain standards to achieve relevant awards
* Ensure financial diligence and accurate reporting
* Foster good relationships with other departments and communicate effectively
* Understand responsibilities related to fire procedures, health and safety, COSHH, infection control, and emergency aid
