Our Merchandising team are looking for a Merchandise Admin Assistant to join us. We currently have live permanent and fixed-term vacancies across a range of categories including Fashion, Beauty, Home, Toys and Technology. The starting salary for Merchandise Admin Assistants is £27,716.

About The Role

This role focuses on reporting and analysing, so a keen interest in figures is essential. You will assist in producing weekly and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders across the business, assess purchase order requests from the buying team and monitor key price changes for Sale periods. You will also collaborate with the Replenishment Analyst to ensure lines are set up correctly for replenishment.

* Approving and actioning POs (including reviewing OTB forms).
* Documenting relevant paperwork for unplanned overspends, highlighting areas of concern to stakeholders, and keeping trackers up to date.
* Assisting in the replenishment process.
* Producing weekly and daily trade reports to agreed timescales with a high degree of accuracy.
* Delivering reports on vendor performance (e.g. PO fill rate, on-time deliveries) and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Chasing deliveries and amend quantities and delivery dates with approval of the Merchandiser and Buying teams as required.
* Resolving trouble shipments and coordinating with Distribution and Buying to ensure issues are resolved promptly.

About You

You will have a good eye for data, demonstrated through strong numerical and analytical skills. You should be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, working effectively with minimal supervision. You will have a strong customer service focus when dealing with internal and external parties, using excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting relationships. Prior admin or merchandising experience is preferred but not essential.

* Be PC literate, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. SAP knowledge is preferable.
* Have strong attention to detail; this is a fast-paced role and accuracy is essential.
* Possess excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task.
* Be proactive and a solutions-based thinker.
