Your Role & Responsibilities:
As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Your duties will include:
Personal Care & Wellbeing:
* Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Encouraging and supporting medication routines
* Helping customers eat well and stay hydrated
Daily Living Support:
* Shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Using mobility aids safely (e.g., wheelchairs, hoists)
* Maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment
Companionship & Social Activities:
* Encouraging hobbies, games, and reminiscence activities
* Supporting customers with visits, appointments, and outings
* Helping with correspondence, phone calls, and social engagement
Health & Safety Monitoring:
* Observing and reporting changes in health or wellbeing
* Recording care provided and liaising with healthcare professionals
* Following Bluebird Care policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols
