Job overview
We are seeking a Medical Workforce administrator to join our friendly Medical Workforce Team. The role involves supporting the team with booking temporary Medical Staff, recruitment administration, and other support services.
Main duties
* First point of contact for rota queries from Trainee Doctors and Consultants.
* Manage swap requests ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations.
* Arrange locum cover for rota gaps, following NHS guidelines.
* Support drafting of on-call rota templates.
* Input absences into relevant systems promptly.
* Process long-term locum requests, liaising with agencies and ensuring compliance.
* Assist with trainee doctor rotation tasks, including scheduling and rostering software updates.

Person specification
Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent work experience
* Word-processing qualification (RSA II/III, ECDL)
* Willingness to work towards CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
Experience
* Administrative/clerical experience
* Experience handling high volume workloads with deadlines
* Experience in recruitment or HR systems like ESR
