We are seeking a Pursuits Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, close-knit, and ambitious team with significant development prospects as we pursue our strategic growth plans.
Our Pursuits team plays a central role in executing our business development strategy, working closely with legal teams to understand and anticipate client needs. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and prioritisation skills to help increase our success rate in competitive opportunities and tenders within target sectors and key client relationships.
What you'll be doing
1. Supporting opportunities by working with Pursuits leads and Project Managers, using bid project management principles to monitor timelines and drive key actions.
2. Assisting with procurement-driven tenders, especially in the Public Sector via online portals, focusing on completing and collating relevant documentation like Selection Questionnaires and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, and supporting CCS trainees with queries related to Public Sector opportunities.
3. Supporting milestone meetings from tender kick-off through submission review, presentation preparation, and debrief.
4. Gathering best practice content from the Marketing Repository, editing, and proofreading proposal documents for content and messaging.
5. Planning pitch presentations, creating materials, liaising with document specialists, and organising rehearsals.
6. Providing feedback on pitches internally and externally.
7. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in the opportunity database.
8. Administering established Pursuits processes such as debriefs, forecasting, mobilisation, and scheduling workstream meetings using trackers and logs.
9. Supporting the Pursuits team to improve and streamline the pursuit process.
