Summary
North Hill Gardens is seeking a skilled Landscape Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency across our landscaping projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for construction and landscaping.
Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for landscaping projects.
* Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures.
* Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability from a financial perspective.
* Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure accurate project specifications.
* Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement agreements.
* Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist in the selection process.
* Maintain accurate financial records for all projects.
* Provide regular reports on project costs, forecasts, and variances to stakeholders.
* Lead monthly applications, project management, and procurement processes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in landscape architecture or construction
* Strong understanding of cost control methodologies and quantity surveying techniques.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Proficient in quantity surveying software and Excel for estimating and reporting.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards is advantageous.
