38 hours per week (Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am–3:00pm)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team based at Bothwell Park Industrial Estate. The successful candidate will assist in the financial and contractual management of projects, ensuring cost efficiency and value delivery while maintaining high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Measurement and valuation of works (on‑site and from drawings)
* Preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts
* Monitor project costs and identify potential risks or savings opportunities
* Assist with the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
* Review subcontractor applications and payments
* Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
* Support contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
* Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and site teams
Key Skills & Requirements
* Degree or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good understanding of construction processes and cost control principles
* M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) knowledge desirable but not essential
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
