Job title: Delivery Manager / Senior Delivery Manager
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: UK-based, with flexible home, office, or hybrid working
Office locations: Newcastle and Leeds, with hubs across the UK
We’re growing our Delivery team to strengthen how we deliver world-class digital products for our clients.
You’ll be joining a small but experienced team shaping how delivery operates at hedgehog lab — balancing structure with flexibility, quality with speed, and helping define what “great delivery” looks like as we scale.
This is an opportunity to own delivery on a variety of client projects — from digital transformation work to fast-paced app and web builds — while also helping shape the wider delivery function itself.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across a range of client projects, leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outcomes that matter.
Expect variety, ownership, and the chance to influence how we work as we continue to mature our delivery model.
You’ll:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple client projects simultaneously
* Own delivery governance, planning, and risk management — ensuring projects stay on time, on budget, and on scope
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and help evolve how our delivery team operates
* Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver high-quality outcomes
* Provide leadership and clarity across teams — guiding priorities, unblocking challenges, and maintaining delivery momentum
What this role is really about
This isn’t a passive project management role.
You’ll bring structure, leadership, and initiative — driving delivery, not just reporting on it.
You’ll help shape our maturing delivery function while being hands-on with live client work.
You’ll thrive here if you enjoy variety, autonomy, and the challenge of delivering complex projects while helping define how a growing consultancy delivers at scale.
Why this role?
You’ll join at an exciting point in our journey.
Our delivery function is evolving — moving from reactive project support to a structured, strategic discipline.
You’ll have the chance to help shape that growth while delivering meaningful work for our clients.
If you want to lead from the front, influence change, and see your impact daily, this is the place for you.

What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager or Programme Manager in an agency, consultancy, or fast-paced product environment
* Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or similar)
* Experience managing multiple cross-functional teams or workstreams concurrently
* Excellent stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
* A self-starter who takes ownership, leads with initiative, and can work autonomously
* A balance of governance and adaptability — you know when to apply structure and when to flex
* 3–8 years of relevant delivery experience depending on level
Nice to have
* Experience leading digital product builds (apps, web, or platform)
