About the Role
Keighley College are seeking a committed and dynamic Health & Science Facilitator to join our large Study Programme department. The role is pivotal in supporting learners across a range of programmes (from Level 1 to Level 3) to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviours needed for success in the health and social care sector.
As a key member of the curriculum team, you will:
Deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities, workshops, and tutorials.
Support students in practical skills development and workplace readiness.
Provide one-to-one and group guidance, helping learners achieve their academic and career goals.
Collaborate with teaching staff, employers, and external partners to ensure high-quality, industry-relevant learning experiences.
What You Will Do
Facilitate learning sessions, tutorials, and enrichment activities that complement formal teaching.
Guide and mentor students on placement and in simulated care environments.
Monitor learner progress, providing feedback and individual support plans where needed.
Promote professional standards, safeguarding, and well-being at all times.
Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring alignment with current industry practices and regulatory requirement
About You
Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care (Level 1 and above).
Practical experience in health, social care, or related services.
Strong communication and mentoring skills, with a learner-centred approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team in a busy FE environment.
