Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clubhouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Golf club. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and Food and Beverage, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively. This role requires a passion for hospitality, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for our members and guests. Experience of managing a P&L with a turnover in excess of £1.5m is desirable. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all aspects of a busy Golf Clubhouse, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality. Oversee food and drink preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with the relevant food safety and hygiene regulations. Manage and develop Clubhouse staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and morale. Develop menus in collaboration with Head Chef, focusing on quality and seasonal ingredients. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and customer areas in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in training new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among all staff members. Control staff and operating costs inline with budgeted expectations. Merchandising. Strong IT skills. Experience Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food service industry is essential. Strong background in financial management of a Food and Beverage operation. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, promoting a culture of excellence. Familiarity with food safety, hygiene standards and best practices is crucial. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with both staff and customers. A passion for hospitality, coupled with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Margin-growth and cost control.
